With every DCP (Digital Cinema Package) which is the digital encrypted movie which is ingested into the play back system (Doremi, Kristie etc) there comes technical specifications for the movie like a framing chart, foot Lambert settings and other stuff.
In order to get the best experience the projector needs to be set accordingly as per specific movie. We at Atrium have started the practise and results are amazing. As far as I know rest of the theatre people setup their projector and let it go because its tedious to set things up and if you make a mistake you are screwed.
While on the topic we (Mandviwalla Entertainment) have the only two "Level 1 certified technical and installation engineers" from Kinoton GmbH (Munich German) in Pakistan. Kinoton and Barco certification are accepted by each other as Kinoton mostly uses Barco technologies wight their own tweaks. I was one of the two personal who went to Munich Germany for training in Jan 2012 and Masha Allah cleared their test and certification. This level of commitment should tell you how much Mandviwalla Entertainment is committed to the industry.
We are working on a project in Islamabad too which will be launched this year Insha Allah.
EDIT: On topic of Avengers, shows were marked as sold out as most of them were sold in advance to corporate entities. In coming week we have included a special 2D show for those who find watching a movie in 3D to be uncomfortable.
