      Bluray movie problem

      Okhay so guys i am used to watch movies in bluray but they were always 720p but this time i decided to download a 1080p one on my laptop but the movie is not working properly its getting atuck constantly
      Sooo anyone has an idea wat should i do

      Get a new laptop.

      try a different player.
      try VLc. or mpc-hc with good codecs.

      It is actually kind of a new laptop like bought it like half an year ago and its a sony viao with a good graphic card soo its supposed to work and i am using vlc media player

        OS: win vista sp1
      Post your laptop specs.I guess your processor is not powerful enough for 1080p playback.
      Have you enabled hardware acceleration in your player settings?

      If using different players doesn't work, it's the problem with your laptop then for sure. Adding specs would help. Otherwise, try exiting all applications while watching movies, because most of them are eating RAM and Processor, so quiting them would help alot.

      I think 1.8GHz C2D should suffice, 2gB ram and at least Intel HD graphics.

      You say you bought vaio less than a year ago, then it should play 1080p.
      Uninstall all codecs and vlc player. And then reinstall VLC.
      If this does not work then perhaps you have not installed your drivers.
