According to my friends and cousins, Nixor is the place to be at chicks + studies. Southshore is more of a party/waste time school. Bayview is party too , its like a hangout area. Lyceum and KGS are the places to be at if you've got great grades and are a paraakoo bacha as well as sports+extra curricular activities which is for KGS tho.

Bhai no matter which school you choose but you'll have to attend tuition with it, so go for a normal school city wagaira and get high class tuition and Eff those bachi's, you'll be spoiled if you run after them.. Telling you from my personal experience. Once you get in it you'll not be able to study just like be so give a distance (:

LOLZZZ.. a student was strucked off when he got caught taking tuition classes, WHAt a joke..

Just focus on studies, make sure you get good grades and all will be fine. If you go to Nixor, they WILL give you a tough time about tuitions since they don't allow them. Even though their teachers are good, they still lack the capability for a tuition free environment. Judging from your past grades, I would say you most definitely will need tutoring. Which is why I would say get good grades in O levels and go to TCS / BSS with 100% scholarship. The money you save will be spent on tuitions and by the time you're done, you will have better grades . Universities need grades, not 'name'. I have known nixor for a very long time now, even before they started . Hope I was of help.
Well actually 'name' CAN make a difference. Look at the list of people from Pakistan who have been admitted to Ivy League unis, they ALL belong to 3-4 of the most prestigious and long-standing institutes of the country (namely KGS, LGS, Aitchison, St. Pats). These unis don't really trust other school transcripts/recommendations to give accurate judgments about any applicant.

But yeah in most cases it doesn't.
Don't worry about what people think. They don't do it very often.

While I somewhat agree to your ivy part, I disagree to joining AC, LGS or KGS just for the Ivy. It's one or two or three in 200 that makes it to the ivys[talking about the top] (generally, like the word has it, aik seat 'reserved' hoti hay for the Headboy at Aitchison and the Head Girl at KGS by Yale). Yes, there are exceptions (like AC's most recent batch with loads of ivy's (around 5)), but generally, it's very little. Getting into an ivy takes more than just being an Aitchisonian, or a grammarian. Most prominent of the other things being co curricular, national debates and being a part of the board of prefects/being a headboy/girl.

Coming back to the 'reserved' part of the word of the mouth, it's merely because these four pick the creme of Pakistan to start off with, thus generally dominate, and have the best of 'general' results. Since it's a known fact that being a head boy in Aitchison, or headboy/headgirl in KGS is a BIG thing, it's greeted with most ivy admissions of Pakistan at undergrad level. However, there are still exceptions, but very few.
Point being, the impact of being an Aitchisonian, or a Grammarian, or whatever is close to none, unless you've made an impact in that institution and/or your country.

Its because of this mentality of ours that we will never become independent. Who says you WILL have attend tuitions? If you have a good teacher in school and you focus in class, why in the world would you ever feel the need for tuitions? Just because you're too lazy to go home and do some self study?

What is shitty is that NOT every student can have excellent student-teacher communication skills with Naushad, Nadeem Salam n etc.
If I need extra help, I'll get it. Nixor has a fucked up rule. Everyone agrees to it, except the Sharks. Plus, when you go to Nixor you have to embrace Nixor. Tight karke chaatne hotay hain and there are some good chics, but mainly faltoo awam hoti hai jo pura din school main phanse guzaar deti hai. School on Sundays, no thank you.

      Sexually deprived
It is usually the mentality when one graduates from O levels. I was merely helping him out. But a little eye candy doesn't hurt once in a While.

Omar nailed it. Nixor sucks, bakwas hai, seriously you spend the whole day at school and even have it on weekends! and Sharks are the biggest D***H***s on earth! everything Nixor does, whether be it downright stupid, they would defend it. NG kay uthanay main time he nahi lagta unhain!
Go for Lyceum or KGS. For Lyceum, you would only be allowed to take Accounts in A levels if you have 95% or above in O levels Accounts. as for KGS, it has lower fee than other privately owned institutions, other than that, you need to have 8 or 9 As to get in, still, its quite tough to get in.

adding to that, KGS and Lyceum help you alot in the university admission process.
