Hey,

People today I got email from Fast that I have been selected for Cs for peshawar campus. So as you people know peshawar campus ain't so good. So what are the chances of transferring to Islamabad after 1st semister?

Wierd since i got the same email aswell. Can't really guess if i'm selected on the NTS criteria or the entry test criteria. :s

Yup just figured that out since i read the mail again and it mentioned something about your merit.

I'm tempted to go to Peshawar for a semester or two and transfer to Lahore later on.

But surviving Peshawar for 5-6 months is hard. :s

Brother are you sure that is that possible to transfer from peshawar to islamabad or any other campus?

Well this is what Muaaz (already studying in Fast) told me a few days back when i was in the same situation as yours, thinking about getting admitted in one of the campuses and then getting a transfer later on.

A friend of mine had such a case. He was from Lahore but couldn't get in to the Lahore campus, came to Islamabad instead.

After 2 semesters, his father came to the campus and wrote a letter to the director that he could not longer afford the accommodation charges and he wants his son transferred to Lahore campus.

Well it worked. He had a poor GPA but he got transferred.

Another case, a friend of mine became eligible for Lahore campus after some of the admission seats opened up. His score was slightly short of the required score so after the second listing he got in.

My suggestion is that, if you really want to get into FAST, then choose one of these campuses and get a transfer.
