      Here's what I think :

      1. Civil Engg. : This one has a HUGE scope particularly in Arab countries . If I planned to go abroad , I would've definitely chosen this . Also , Civil Engg. has a low merit and you can easily get in . People tend to ignore this field saying that it doesn't have any future . But it's the hot subject abroad .

      2. Electrical Engg. : Electrical Engg. is best if you intend to stay in Pakistan . We all know that this is the most credited field .

      3. Mechanical Engg. : No idea .

      4. Architecture : No idea .

Again , I would say , go for what you're passionate about .

NOTE : NEVER GO FOR TELECOM , as it's now saturated and there's no way you can find jobs on the basis of Telecom Engg.

Electrical and Electronics are somewhat different , but I don't exactly know how .

My first preference out of these would be Electrical. Greater opportunities and room for growth.

2nd preference would probably be Civil. Although there's a lot of field work involved, there are plenty of opportunities in the international market.

1.Civil: As muaaz said above , it does have scope but not here but in other countries

2.Electrical: This field is always there, Huge scope in every country,if done from UET than even better

3.Mechanical: GIKI is the best in this thing..Although i dont know much about this field so cant say anyting

4.Architecture: Never had any discussion on this field so no comments but for more info you can contact NESPAK and SKB

      NEVER GO FOR TELECOM
Yep dont go for it..We people dont even think what will be the future in the next upcoming 4 years when u will gradute, instead u just select the field and think its a matter of 1-2 year then everything will be in ur favour NO its not like that..
Go in that field in which you think your the BEST...

If your friend is in comptuing then go for Networking , its hot nowadays especially in the countries like dubai who pay you large amount of pay
