Yarr sory for abusing. Im not here to fight. You are right about what you are saying and Im not arguing against that, bu tyou cannot deny that a pre-configured config will help a noob.

acha acha sorry for engaging in abusing stuff... lets talk like we all are pros... i won't call you a noob...
ex interp and cmd rate and update rate are the "rates" that i am talking about... those are the first things you learn about... you do not need a config for that... everyone knows that...fps max is 101 so you can get 100 fps ... but these are the few things you can do that is all... and it will be a big mistake to go for binds that the international pros use as everyone has his own preference... you will have to learn their binds rather you bind your own and you don't have to learn... my point it that these few commands are nothing really... eveyone can understand them... there are guides made by pros about how to make your own configs... now that is something a newcomer could look into... following someone elses config does nothing really... these few things that you change from default are a must for international playing or home playing or internet playing... and never recommend anyone to play with interp 0.1 even on the internet... this gives noobs a big advantage... you jump behind a wall for cover and you still get shot... it makes you lose accuracy and you become bad on lan...
lets forget that all and be friendly... you made your recommendation and that is fine... my recommendation is make your own config... a guide is in this link below.....
http://www.gotfrag.com/cs/story/31150/
this is a two page guide which will help everyone... it should be your "international standard" config after you make it...the thing is that bro new comers get carried away with this stuff... so it is better to advice them that these things are just small tools... the actual thing is your ingame play... cuz hudfast switch and things like dynamic crosshair are used by many pros.. they don't always use them either... they just do what they are comfortable with... peace out... hopefully our fight ends...
Yeah you are tight about using ex_interp 0.01. The effects of 0.1 can bee seen in this video and you are 100% right.

Unfortunately though there are a lot of noobs using 0.1 as their default settings and they get undeserving frags. Theres nothing we can do about that
Regarding server rates, can you list me the servers that actually support cl_cmdrate 101 and cl_updaterate 101?
and what about the in and out settings on net graph? do they indicate the packets going in and out. In that case I have yet to a server that supports 101 rate. Meaning with 101 as your setting you will never be in sync with the server and shots that are not hitting the body get registered.
and more importantly, what will be the effects of ex_interp 0.01/ ex_interp 0.1 in case of the scenario mentioned above.
interp messes up the hit boxes... it is like this... if youa re at 0.01 then it will hit exactly where you fire... while at 0.1 even if the oponent is a little out of your crosshair then you will get a headshot...... you must have observed noobs making "tukka:" shots while their aim wasn't even on target or their target jumped behind something and they still fire the shot and get killed... which can be due to lag but mostly due to 0.1 interp... well that is another thing... our pakistani servers suck pretty much so you have to use 0.1 to stop it being jerky... well leave that ... online only makes your aim worse... you get terrible... if your ping is below 30 then playing online is okay.. i haven't played online for a long time cuz the ping is always 50+-100 so it is pretty much destroying your game... although i don't play at all... so doesn't matter...
and net graph is very important if it is not banned... you will notice the "in " value jumping very high when ever an enemy is close... that is why it is banned mostly and in these configs netgraph would be 0 mostly... only lex has bound it to turning on or off which means he is cheating... but it shows high value of "in" even if your teammate is close so you have to use it intelligently like in a 5vs 5 it can be handy telling you if your enemy is behind a wall or not... but that is cheating... even interp 0.1 is considered cheating... or for that matter if you have 16 bit on instead of 32 but in your settings... i hope you still don't think we are arguing... cuz i ain't atleast... just sharing stuff which you ofcourse know...
True. Even though I am not into ex_interp etc, I do change them whenever I feel that my bullets are not going where I want them to.
I want to know about the command "rates", I have seen people set them at 25000, 12000, 2500, 2000, and 8000. I usually play in GZ at the CS:CZ's 12000 standard whenever I can't perform and somehow, I start performing well.
Another thing, there is a "CEVO" CS, in which we can score a lot of tukkas. Like I can kill a person who is almost 30 steps away by dragging my aim and shooting at the same time.
And my default settings are:
cl_cmdrate 100,
fps_max 100,
vsync is off by force,
PS, I have been playing CS since the last 7 years, on and off. I played against a good amateur team yesterday after 22 days without CS, using my MX500 (whose mouse wheel is broken), and I clutched twice whenever the bomb was planted in B and I had to defuse it by coming from AThe feeling one gets after defeating a team is awesome
We can't build a damn co-ordination in our game. I mean whenever we are rushing, we can't co-ordinate. Someone screws up. Also I need to know how to play against an offensive team (the team which pushes at times from CT), because the only teams I have played against are defensive, and have defeated many of them.
