[Solution]: sXe working for 32 Bit and 64 Bit Windows

Okay, so I have tried this on my Windows XP 32 BIT, and on Windows 7, 64 BIT, and it worked on both OSes.
I won't mind if one of you guys also give it a try. This method is revolutionary WTF!
sXe does not work on 64 BIT OS, but install it in the "Program Files (x86)" folder. Then run it. It'll work.

      Procedure :

      1) First download all the files given in the download section.

      2) Install patch v35_v36 first.

      3) Install patch v23 now (I know this sounds a bit stupid but it works)

      4) Copy the gameui.dll from Valve folder to cstrike/cl_dlls folder

      5) Go to desktop -> properties -> settings -> advance -> troubleshoot -> reduce
hardware acceleration to two steps left. (NOT REALLY NEEDED, SKIP THIS ONE, BUT TRY IT IF CS DOES NOT WORK AFTER FOLLOWING THE NEXT FEW STEPS).

      5) Finally download sxe and install it.

      6) Minimize it and start the game.

      7) Try joining any non-garena server. If you can join then its installed.

Downloads: (click on the sentences for DL links)

      2)https://rapidshare.com/files/1847928..._v36_patch.rar
      Password:www.ultimate-caffe.org

      3) Copy the "GameUI.dll" in the "Valve\cl_dlls" folder into "Cstrike\cl_dlls" folder. The game will run.

P.S. Kudos to the "Gerena forums" for this method. I don't remember the name of the user who invented this but 1000 kisses to him!. I can finally play CS in peace! Yay!

There is no need for that if its working fine with full Hardware Acceleration.

But for some users, it needs to be dropped to a certain value before sXe and CS start functioning together

Okay so this method worked for Hacks too.

Try it out @ other people. Just DL a clean copy of CS without bots and added shit, install the V35-36 Patch on it, and then install the V23 Cumulative Patch on it. I am sure sXe will work fine after you do this

Worked for many of my friends too!

Well that gameUi.dll is IMHO the dll located in C:\Program Files\Valve\valve\cl_dlls, i am not sure though but it worked for me.

what i did is just install cs 1.6 patched it with V35-36 than V23B than copied the gameUi.dll from " C:\Program Files\Valve\valve\cl_dlls " to " C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike\cl_dlls " mind it that cstrike folder should already have a gamui.dll having size of 800kB or so, u'll have to overwrite it by the dll located in valve folder having size of 1.5MB.

Although it did took some trial & error to figure out the correct gameui.dll, but i finally managed to get the right one after downloading multiple dlls from the net and trying out dlls from different patches. but in the end it works

      thanks again Shary
