RWP/ISB Meetup on 17th Oct, 2009

My father just warned me not to go to Jinnah Park due to security purposes.... ... how can i convince him?? please help.. can't miss the meetup either!!

bro if u r underage that is to say below 16 then i think you can 4get about convincing otherwise you could simply sneak out saying ur friend had an accident or he's having his b'day party bla bla (make sure you let your friend in on the plan :P)

99% chances are that i wont be able to make it, ive got a grand family meetup at my home, with relatives from as far as usa.....i'll still try my best to make it...

I know what you mean but I think the security at Jinnah Park is quite satisfactory. First there guards at the main gate. Then the car is checked near the ticket box. Plus you'll be checked twice at Cinepax and finally the G-Zone which is only reserved for us. So everyone can feel assured that they will be safe and sound during the meetup.

Ok here are the stats so far.

We got 30 Confirmations

and 7 still not confirmed. 30 is excellent count guys. I don't think there has been a meetup on PG with this many people attending it. I'm quite sure that each and everyone of you is going to remember this epic meetup.

Ok just came from the meet up.

First of all thanks to Terry,Kinain,Rynimox,Micronukex and KillingHawk for finding time from their busy schedule and coming to the meet up in order to make it memorable. Special thanks to Saqib aka MicroNukeX for coming there. Its truly an honour to meet a person of such caliber in SF4. I found that you are as good as a person as you are in SF4 . I would also like to mention Kainan over here who I finally got to meet after talking to him on the phone. Hes also quite good in SF4 and has a deadly Guile. Also thanks to the rest of the gang for some memorable SF4 matches. Hopefully, all of us will play once again at the expected SF4 tournament in Dec/Jan.

Over all the meet up was quite a blast. We had around about 26-27 members this time. Even though we were missing some key members like Conscript, Fareed and Devil but still it went quite well. I would say that it wasn't as organzed as it should had been but I hope that everyone had a nice time there. At the meet up though SF4 seemed to be the most popular game but members also got to play TDR, Most Wanted, Call of Duty, UT2004, Smackdown vs Raw.

I also got to meet Talal aka Tee1. He is going to help us getting in touch with Micronet and hopefully we can form a parternship with them in the near future.

Among the new faces other than Saqib's gang I would say that I was most pleased to meet GrimR3aper, Tee1 and Musab.

In the end, I would like to thank everyone who made it to the meetup. We made a landmark today as this was the biggest meet up in Pindi.
