Failed wateen gaming service (wogs).

A few days ago wateen was offering free gaming servers and in the past month I wanted to play COD4 and found that the service has gone paid and live. So i thought there must be some improvement in the service. I went to franchise and bought an account for 900Rs for 3 months. waited for it to get activated and than installed the oddly named client COGS. And it refused to allow me to authenticate and I waited two more days and it logged in. Happy! I was to play the game at last but found all servers to be offline. ok. I thought there must be a problem. Searched their forum and contacted them and they told me about the issue and said it will be corrected by weekend. But after so much phateek I managed to enter into the game and there was no one. Empty!. So I thought this must be odd time and now its not even entering into server saying connection timeout.
Alright reason for writing all this, Wateen has yet again failed. The client is very limited, So limited that even unable to perform basic tasks. Have a look at the client.
Starting the client we see a plain login screen





looks good so far, But notice there is no option to save the usename and password, And every time I close and start it. it just gets blank and I have to repeat tedious task of re-entering it. Also there is no ability to start the client with windows. The installation is also a hassle.
Now have a look after logging in





Notice the number of players, thats 24/7 situation. no one is in the servers. Also notice there is no ability to reconnect the chat session and there is no option to chage nickname. it has mind of its own to authenticate or disconnect. Also there is no ability to set online status. And there is no central information indicator about service status. There is no option to logout and login again.

The list of games above do look cool but whats the use. Now lets examine the settings section. Chat is useless as its not connected and there is no ability to try again.

Now this is a funny thing. You cannot set game paths unless you are logged in. Can't access settings or any thing unless logged in.
I wanted to show people how a company is making innocent user make them pay and does not deliver. The Client is totally unprofessional in design. An impractical interface with limitations. Failed to do even most basic tasks you expect from an online client. After Client the servers are not stable too.
It looks more like a 5th semester casual project from a local university which students usually make in free time. I am not sure wateen paid someone for this pethatic client and launched the service prematurely without trial accounts.
I would recommend other customers to stay away from this service. there is nothing special in it. And its a disappointment. Wateen is not professional in any case. even I can make better client than this. PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The point is if tey can't make a professional client than how can they manage to server professionaly.

I am already using that but only one server is sometimes a mess and its only Search and Destroy. So obviously I was attracted to multiple servers.

if u want to pay buy Legit Copies and play on Legit Servers

since we r using pirated games why shuld we pay to play them on servers which r empty half the time?

Wateen ppl are trying to improve and get problem solved in COGS as fast as they can. ur problems are duly noted. Even though I am not a wateen employee ... yet as a freelance admin i know how much discussions and customer support is being handeled each day. all the more to bring a much better service to consumers.

so plz dont be quick in making ur decission. give it time and proper feedback and InshAllah you will enjoy a more "rewarding" community there.

i dont agree with you on this. Any Private firm/company's main, first & foremost purpose is to get better THEN Cut the People's throat. It helpes then make GOOD WILL in the market, people starts to trust on 'em & THEN they act. Not before. So if you say Wateen is only interested in money, i dont think so.
