      Xioami 10000mah teardown

Ok so got this powerbank from PG member @Pakipower123 and knowing the fact that market is flooded with cheap Xioami knock offs I decided to tear it apart

      Mi Power Bank
      10000mAh Panasonic/LG battery cells
      Business card sized

Thats what they say on their website and it is entirely true.

      1. Charging controller from Texas Instruments (top notch)
      2. Temp sensor for over heating protection
      3. Panasonic NCR18650B* 3 (3350Mah each) = 10050Mah made in Japan
      4. Lots of transistors
      5. Solid metal strip instead of wire

      Pictures:

Hence I have to conclude this is totally genuine product totally compact and very handy BUY IT if small and cheap power bank is required.

My only concern is it states that it can charge at 2 Amp but I am not getting anything above 1.3 amps have tried original Asus/Ipad 2amp chargers and this Zeksit 2.4amp anyone can explain why might that be ?
because at that current it will take too long to charge

I have tried many chargers as mentioned Asus 2amp (Nexus 7), Ipad 2amp and the one in pic, it dosnt charge fast. BUT it took 6 hours to charge it full from zero. Discharge ratings will be updated in a day or two

OK so it charges 3 phones s2, lumia 620 and nexus 4, iphone 4s from 0-100% that is 1600+1300+2100+1400= 6400mah and I still have 1 dot left. So i plugged S2 again and it managed to charge from 6-95%. Not bad for such a small power bank

Note: Power banks batteries are rated at 3.7v while mobile charges at 5v this means this 10000mah bank actually has ~7400mah capacity.

      That's y I purchased 16000mah one ...
You can check the externals also there r certain markings, packaging items and weight of the original which fake ones can't ever match
But thanks again ... Do share how n in what kind of packaging it came, it will be an easy quick check for someone who is buying similar product from a shop
