Well I sold my old system recently (see the link in my sig for the specs and pics)....and i decided to upgrade after a long time....so i'll keep posting in this thread with all the updates that i do....

Special thanks to xxSC4Rxx and iameXtreme for the help in deciding the components and in acquiring them

Firstly the specs of my new system:

-Core i7 2600k (Air cooled)
-ASRock Z68 Extreme 7 Gen3 motherboard
-Corsair 16GB RAM (have 8, waiting on the second 8gb)
-Calibre x560ti DF sli
-Cooler Master real power m850 modular power supply
-Western Digital Caviar 1.5tb primary hard drive (also have 2x200gb seagate hard drives, and a 250gb western digital external hard drive)
-HL Blu ray drive
-Alienware optx AW2310 3d lcd
-Cyborg RAT 5 gaming mouse
-Razer Lycosa gaming keyboard
-Antec 1200 casing

-Still deciding on what cpu cooler to go with

the board cost about 300 dollars. which is an excellent price in my opinion considering all the features it has
