      P4300011.JPG

      LAPTOP SPECS:

      Intel Core i5 2.5Ghz 2450m Clockable upto 3.1Ghz

      15.6" Widescreen (1366x76 Wide LED

      Integrated HD Camera

      4GB DDR3 Memory 1333Mhz

      500 GB Hard Drive 5400rpm

      8X DVD+/-RW Optical Drive

      6-cell 48W/HR LI-ION Battery

1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT-525M Graphics Card

      Intel Wireless 1702 (802.11g/n)

      Bluetooth v3.0

      Attachment 75839

      Experience:
      Pros....
      The computer Performance is awesome.......
      Shape is awesome
      Build quality Excellent....
Bluetooth 3.0 and usb 3.0 is and will be very useful in future
Glossy screen is very excellent (my opinion)
Battery timing is good. 4 hours of film watching with headphone attached and brightness upto 42 percent (even on 42 it is very bright)

      Cons:
it is a Hardcore Dust Magnet.
Heats up like hell after 20 minutes of playing any Graphic intense Game.
The Dvd Writer eject button is flat you can't feel it. To eject or insert a dvd you have to see every time where it is actually located.
The model i have is n5110 15r but i dont have any button on the back of LED to change cover and even dell usa Reps dont know why it does not have a button to switch Cover.
Laptop's upper left side (the one where hard disk is) gets heatup while gaming.(annoying one)

Congratulations Bro, such a nice lappy u got there, But in my opinion Dell inspiron n5110 tend to heatup pretty quickely, what should we do? Well make sure that u never use it on ur bed or matress etc bcz it blocks the vents which intake cool air and blow hot air out, use it on a flat hard serface like tile or table also if can get a 4x4 or 5x5 inch piece of wood or marble put it under ur laptop in the middle u will see temps drop from 20% to 25% oh btw in answer to post above mine by overclockable He means Turbo Boost.

It isn't Turbo boost the highest clock frequency on this CPU is 3.1GHz and the Turbo boost only gives upto 2.9GHz. Stock clock speed is 2.5GHz. I have the same lappy with 6GB DDR3 1333MHz (cause I added 2GB myself, cause it only came with 4). Check my PC specs for details. This laptop does heat up a lot and this guy is very right about the DVD eject button which feels like it isn't there. Performance that this laptop gives is great and battery timings for me are average. I also have the N5110 15R model but no switch or button for switching covers. Mine is exactly the same colour but I bought it from a friend who owns an electronics shop and he gave it to me for 59k with bag.

its a great laptop for its price,as it used to cost above 60k ,recently laptops prices have fallen a bit
i got a core i3 version for 55k 5 months ago ,it runs all games smoothly
use it on flat surface etc as it tends to heatup quickly
can u play games with nividia gpu on battery???as i cant use nividia gpu while unplugged ,as i plug in charger it starts using nividia gpu in games
i think its optimus tech is the reason behind this issue

I'm not mistaken I have checked Intel's official site myself. The highest clock speed to clock the processor is 3.1GHz. The highest speed that is produced by the Intel Turbo Boost Technology is 2.9GHz. The stock clock speed is 2.5GHz. Look up the difference between Max clock speed and highest turbo frequency.
