Lag in Need for Speed (The Run)

Ive installed NFS The RUN iv noticed a lag during gameplay despite having 460GTX in SLi, Core i7 and 12GB Rams
clearly the problem is in software

i also have origin installed for legit BF3 Multiplayer, NFS also uses Origin and try to log on to it may that is the problem?

What sort of lag are you facing ? The game is capped at 30fps. Are you sure you are getting 30fps constant. Because if you are the game is just fine.

      1. Upgrade your graphics card drivers (NVIDIA provides performance increases for games all the time).
      2. Exit all programs and disable ones that may pose problems (though not ideal, some antiviruses and firewalls cause high lag)
      3. Turn off AntiAliasing (AA) and VSYNC for the game

Maybe there are viruses in your computer considering you don't keep any anti-virus

I was facing the same problem and now my games ( bf3, run, ac rev, bat.ac etc) are running super fine at 1400 x 1050 and 1280 x 1024.
      (intel dual core 2.9 ghz, 4gb ddr2 800 mhz)

i just downloaded the latest drivers for my his digital ati hd 5670 1 gb ddr3 from his digital website. Previously i was using ati drivers directly from amd website and it had made the game go to less then 5 fps/second.

I think you should do the same.. There is only one solution as far as i know that is keeping you from enjoying your game and that is the proper drivers for your msi gpu. Try downloading the drivers from msi websit.
You should definitely not have issues with these games with such a beast machine of yours.
