Why are you looking for WDTV Live +, the diffrence b/w WDTV live and Live+ is "+" have some online streaming features like netflix, pandora, hulu etc which are all paid.

I am using WDTV live from past 2 years, i found that to be very good and perfectly fit inside my infrastructure with Samsung Series 8 Led, Yamaha Receiver and 4tb Synology Network Attached storage.

I use HDMI to connect all the equipments, NAS is connected via Gigabit. My WD Live firmware is hacked with WDLXTV, which provide me with some extra features like movie sheets, subtitle down loader etc., custom wall paper.

get a new one from techno under warranty. if need more info pM me.
