So is there any difference in the technical experience (graphics, sound etc.) or is it just technical jargon? Regular burned DVD-DL games will not glitch or damage my lens right? Anyone care to enlighten me what XGD3 is (yes, I'm a noob). I want to get my Xbox modded but I don't want to take any risks with it (I've heard a few horror stories).

personally i dont like the media quality of melody so i dont use neither i intend to use melody .... and theres a perfect tut in the xbox section for burning xdg3 games

XDG3 games are newer games which are on a different format ... this is a proprietary format from Microsoft .... and has more space than a standard DL DVD ... well if you want to protect the lens life of your console ... then you need to get a HDD ..preferably 250gb and install games to HDD before playing ....

you can ... upto 16gb of space will be utilized .. just format the HDD the fat32 and plug it inthe xbox .. it will recognize and configure it

Hey faizy what is the quality of your burned disc when you test your games with KProbe2? I have read on team-xecuter forum that to play on Xbox live you need to use a very good media like Verbatim and then quality test the burn by using kprobe2. If the quality of the burn is below the recommended quality then the game can fail CIV checks which will flag your Xbox360 for a ban. I have tested melody and it is quite bad to be used on Xbox live so I am not going to put it in my Xbox at all. Can you tell me what ratings you get when you test your Banana and Verbatim with KProbe2. The recommended quality for playing on Xbox live are giving below.

Make sure KProbe2 is set to 4x CLV Scanning
PI MAX should be 100 or less & PI Average should be 5 or less
PIF MAX should be 4 or less & PIF Average should be 0.20 or less
Nero Score should be no less than 90

you heard it right folks.... finally got my hands on a lite-on burner and im ready to go for LT-MAX.... currently only verbatim discs are working with LT-MAX..


price (verbatim made with LT-MAX with plastic case): Rs.300 per disc(i know its expensive but no choice)

price(BANANA(GREEN) made with LT-MAX): Rs. 150 per disc(cheaper but obviously verbatim is of better quality as with normal burns)

I have a few questions:
Are the chances of me getting a bad-burn same for both the banana and the verbatim or do you verify the discs before shipping?
Will i be able to copy and run the game from Hard-drive?
If i tend to buy 5 banana discs, will the shipping still be free or is the offer only for verbatims?
And how will u send them and how will i pay you?
