Just forget wildfire S. It has an older chipset as compared to explorer so no flash support. In that price range u can easily get xperia mini. As far as camera and GPS goes, no one really uses gps and camera of both phones are not worth it. If u have limited budget then go for explorer otherwise forget widfire S & get something better instead. Xperia mini would be a wise choice as it has a 1ghz processor, good camera with 720p recording and planned official release of ICS 4.0

Wildfire S because it has better camera, Corning Gorilla Glass, Better build quality, Much better CPU [I personally love ARM].

On an unrelated note: If you have 16-17K then why not search for a used Nexus One or maybe if you're lucky Galaxy Ace/XPERIA Ray.

performance will be same because both has same hardware except chipset etc but ram,processor and gpu are same. explore give better internet speed.

coz i used tht cell and it got 5mp camera and Corning Gorilla Glass , and i think a better looks ..,<<

just get explorer not a wildfire ... but if you are talking about wildfire s then you should go for that instead of explorer. Explorer comes with the same performance specs as wildfire s but with a lower camera resolution thats all + let me remind you that performance wise htc explorer is better than htc wildfire since its an armv7 device
