well, if you'd let go of the blatant fanboyism for a moment you'd realize that if sony didnt have a side product constantly making profits for them like the ps2 i dont think they'd have let their games division go off so much because of the production costs of a ps3.

Market share is just a figure of dominance establishment. Who owns how much of the market with their products.
