Thumbs up Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time Also Headed to Vita, Will Be Cross-Play-able

LOOKING kewl ! a ps3 and vita connectivity here

      ------------------------------------------------------------

That's right, in addition to being available for the PS3 this fall, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time will launch simultaneously on the Vita, and with glorious cross-play functionality included. That means that you'll be able to save a PS3 game file to the cloud and pick up where you left off on your Vita, assuming you've got the Vita software.

Glen Egan, President of Sanzaru Games, took to The PlayStation Blog and offered a bit more on what the Vita version of the game will bring to the table.

The portable version will contain all the same awesome Sly Cooper action you will find on the PS3 along with cool Vita-specific features that incorporate the front and rear touchscreens and motion controls.
The games haven't yet received a specific release date, but are scheduled to hit this fall.

Finally a reason to why it looks so last-gen. They're going to ruin the franchise

So they actually think people will buy the same game twice just to enjoy cross-platform play? *smh*

This is particularly why I'm a lot more excited about the prospects of the Wii U.

@amaga bhai: We cannot afford to buy the same game for like 2 systems. Especially when it doesn't offer much. As much as i love the Sly series and it was my favorite back on PS2, i would just play the PS3 version so that i can play it on a big screen(Unless the Vita offers similar functionality and is cheaper)
