Sixense Studios, the developers of the Razer Hydra motion controller for PC, are bringing PlayStation Move functionality to the PlayStation 3 version of Valve's Portal 2, along with a dedicated DLC called Portal 2 In Motion.
The good news doesn't end here, but let's stick to Portal 2 for now.
In case you didn't know, back in June last year, the PC version of Portal 2 enjoyed the release of a DLC pack known as "The Motion Pack", which allowed to play the whole game, as well as 10 new "motion-exclusive" maps, using the Razer Hydra controller.
E3 2012 | Portal 2 Getting Full PlayStation Move Support Along With Dedicated DLC - iWaggle3DWhat the Hydra brought to the game wasn't just a floating cursor but also alternative ways to solve Portal 2 puzzles thanks to the new means of interaction with portals and cubes the Sixense motion controller technology provided.
More specifically, thanks to its 1:1 tracking capabilities, the Hydra allowed to scale cubes (changing their size and proportions, and therefore their mass) as well as to move and reorient placed portals.
As revealed during this E3, that functionality is now coming to the PlayStation 3 version of the game, courtesy of the very same guys responsible for the original DLC.
