Are composite or component cables better? Im hearing composite is better than i'm hearing component is better. Which one?
If your display is SD then no use for adaptors as your screen doesn't support higher resolutions.I have a standard definition tv atm can i have 720p or 1080p on it using a HDMI-DVI/VGA Adapter? Will it work? Today 06:24 PM
Component is better cause it's progressive rather than interlaced, if your TV has compnent inputs then definitely use component cables. Are composite or component cables better? Im hearing composite is better than i'm hearing component is better. Which one?

How do i know if it has component inputs?
A component cable has five connectors as compared to composite's three, so try to look for the inputs on your tv, if there are more inputs given in a row (5 in a row rather than 3) than that would be component input.
P.s in compnent cables video signal is carried by 3 separate RGB connectors so thats why they are 5 while in composite cable only yellow carries video signal so thats why they are 3 red & white for audio & yellow for video.

See the back of the tv. If it have Blue and (don't remember) A/V ports or more than 3 ports , than it support component output. How do i know if it has component inputs?
On the back it has 5 in a row, red, white, green, blue, red. So i think i have component output also with a 80 gb ps3 can i use wired internet connectivity? like i have the modem and i just put the ethernet cable with ps3 and the modem will it work?
Yes it is the component input now get component cables & connect & yeah you just connect your PS3 with an ethernet cable.
