      Awesome work, JE

Both you and Darth Major are well ahead of me. I've only got 40% of the trophies I think. Should get back to Journey as soon as I'm done with my backlog of unfinished games.

It's amazing how faithful this LBP2 recreation is to the original.

Get a Journey Scarf of Your Very Own

We feature quite a few collectibles here. This one won't involve trekking to the toy store though.

This scarf from Journey comes courtesy of Etsy seller Gotcha Covered by DZS. She specializes in making scarves, as you may have guessed, and knitted this one by request for a gamer. In keeping with the game it's fifteen feet long and more than a foot wide. To give you a visual idea of the size:

      Want it?

You can have one of your very own if you're willing to part with $100. Unlike a lot of the mass manufactured gaming collectibles you see this is actually handmade. As part of your purchase you'll be able to follow along with the scarf being knit and offer feedback so you can get exactly the scarf you want. The attention to detail on this is particularly eye-catching; it really looks just like the scarf from the game. And it'll keep your neck and just about everything else covered from the size of it.

Cosplayers and people who like to be warm while making video game references had better hurry: the artist is currently booked through July and we don't imagine that line is going to get any shorter.

Journey Is Officially The First Grammy-Nominated Video Game

It's easy to make fun of any awards ceremony, but they are a group of people honoring their best. And, for the first time, a video game has made it to the list.

Journey has been nominated for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. It admittedly has some tough competition, musically: John Williams' score for The Adventures of Tin-Tin and Hans Zimmer's score for The Dark Knight Rises are among the six nominees.

Our Take: Due to the quirks of how the Grammys are voted on, it's not clear who might be a front-runner in this race, but it's just good to see game composers, who put just as much care and work into their scores as any film composer, getting some acknowledgement for their work. Can we perhaps award retroactive Grammys? We can think of a few game composers who deserve them.

      Woot! Journey!

Good to see art being appreciated as such and not like just some video game song.
