*What is the Shoulder Tap Megaton?

Two E3s back, the monopolistic corporate giant i.e. Microsoft, began a new trend whereby a popular exclusive title from the 'other camp' is announced for release on the Xbox 360 at the console maker's E3 press conference. The aim is to publicly humiliate the competition by bringing in developers/producers popularly associated with the franchise and, as our very own Chandoo would put it, get some LULZ out of the moment!! :P

The victims thus far have been:

Microsoft has promised to show a mix bag of new titles at its E3 show tomorrow - including some big reveals for the hardcore.

In a rousing speech today, Microsoft UK boss Neil Thompson told press that tomrrow's event would offer "something for everyone" - and hinted at a core game reveal.

We're getting very excited now. Microsoft is expected to reveal a bunch of 'family friendly' titles at its Natal event tonight in Los Angeles - where Cirque du Soleil will perform.

We'll be on the ground, reporting the news as it happens.
