Microsoft comments on lack of new Xbox 360 exclusive IPs

Oh comeon thats funny considering its Hotshot who made the thread, and he owns an X360, and is always the first one to claim that PC gaming is dead hahahaha

On a side note, I think MS are still focusing on Kinect and Arcadish type of games. Maybe next gen consoles will have decent hardware but will still focus more on arcade type games.

MS may go the casual route next gen.

It is very clear that they are focused on Kinect gaming now, so a slightly improved console (spec. wise) over the current 360, like the Wii U, with integrated Kinect 2.0 i am guessing.

its typical Microsoft, go in hard bribing devs and stealing exclusives instead of developing new ones and in the end after making lots of $$$ just leave the consumer out there to dry. just like the original xbox and in the end officially abandon any support

umm i was thinking of MS saying " we are working on a new console so expect this current 360 to die and all of its support in 2012" like they usually do as the bullies they are

I find it easy to buy that Microsoft won't spend money on new IPs. This generation is almost over, they are focusing on Kinect and it has alot to catch-up to the interest of hardcore gamers. Multiplatforms sell the most on 360, and it has managed to survive 2011 with only two worth mentioning exclusives. What makes you think it can't do it just two more years?

There are more AA/AAA multiplatforms than ever. Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Elder Scrolls, Witcher, Call of Duty, Battlefield etc all have sold and performed better on 360. As much as I hate to say it, Microsoft can comfort themselves knowing they don't have to worry jack about putting new exclusives.

Well like the article says and what we can see now as 360's future is that MS is only good at home entertainment that DOESN'T include gaming now...

So now more and more people are using it as an entertainment hub rather than a gaming machine...

So yeah, if they're making $$$ then why stop making it now?

Each and every company involved in any business whether it be MS or Sony or Nintendo, only cares about the profits, no one cares for the gamers or for us individuals, that's a cold hard fact...

So better accept what we have and pray that we don't get left behind in their war of total domination...

Every company tries to make profit, true, but the way they make profit is different. MS does not give a damn about its customers and making profits, while Sony making profits but also cares about its gamers. That's why launching solid exclusives every year and sony keeps promoting its previous gen consoles for 2 to 3 years even after launching a new one. That's what you say 'Customer care'..
