I am not a big fan of Pokemon,but love spongeBob.Have got all SpngeBob cartoons ever released.

The same reason Pokemon is looked down upon is due to the franchise and ofcourse the massive milking of said genres, including the ever so popular digimon, beyblade and Yu gi Oh series ... it's all about the inner-culture of these shows and the insane corporate bootay they open up in the process.

I personally do not like the card-duel-battle genre, but I know a few people who are hell bent to defend it until their fingers bleed and skin turns yellow.

All this Japanese anime has got a huge fan base and it really surprises me. The only japanese anime i ever liked was "Spirited away"

Pokemon is good but the best Cartoon ever made is "Tom & Jerry".(My personal favorite)

Japanese Cartoons are too long.just like "STAR PLUS" Dramas.

Agreed,and not to mention all those bouncy jugs shown in most Japanese animes.

yeah tom n jerry kids was my fav... buggs bunny kids too i still remember the time 8:30 in the morning..
lol those were some good cartoons... but i was never in japnese animes... so hate all these stuff..

dunno why i gave up really, guess ive grown out of it
