Square Enix gives PSP some Lovin' : FFXIII spinoff !!!!!

so far what we know is that Tetsuya Nomura is onboard, as the designer. and that its a "Dramatic Progressive Action" game, not a typical RPG whatever the hell that means..

Does that mean what I think it means? =D I remember him saying that he wanted to bring Advent Children's action sequences into a videogame. Wouldn't this be it? =DDD

i have no idea what it means so far either, just something i read somewhere .. it probably means it'll have a lot of QTE events or some such.

anyway, some minor news, conflicting news that this may infact NOT be a part of the FFXIII series and a new adventure completely..

so that makes, FF Tactics 2, FF 1&2 remake, FF Crisis core and this..

4 FF's currently in production for the PSP.



Square Enix has decided to open the official website of Dissidia: Final Fantasy. Although only the flash intro is available, it does give us a bit of new information:

· 'Dissidia' is indeed Final Fantasy title, but not a Final Fantasy XIII spin-off as rumors suggested.

· Tetsuya Nomura is in charge of Character Design.

· The game logo is revealed.

It means will get something to play on PSP. Right now there is load of trash games on PSP, I didnt even like the Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, I was so excited and ordered my copy from USA, as its not out here yet and its hopeless, should have downloaded the .iso

i'd say thats a very big case of to each his own because the psp has several home console quality games that a lot of people dig..

eh ? they're already MAKING 4 games for the PSP..

Yeah Duke Nukem forever is being "made" they keep releasing on DS every 5 months.

duke nukem is on hold indefinetly, final fantasy 1 and 2 psp are already out in japan, and crisis core has been given a fixed release date now.. this is new so it'll take some while to get a release date for it..

so here is some rather fucked up news...

Sooo it seems that, according to this here blog (http://ff13vids.jugem.jp/), Dissidia will be a 3D fighting game featuring multiple characters from the Final Fantasy series!

Its basically square enix's take on Super Smash Bros meelee


Dissidia:
Characters from the FF series do battle on 3D fields... genre is versus action.
Cosmos and Chaos are the two gods of Light and Dark
First chars revealed are Warriors of Light from FFI, Zitan from FFIX.
Also there will be Garland and Kuja.
