I HAVE 3.03 OE-C, THIS GUIDE IS DESIGNED FOR 3.03 OE AND 3.10 OE. I DO NOT KNOW IF IT WORKS FOR OTHER FIRMWARES.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A CHANCE OF BRICKING EVERY TIME YOU MESS WITH THE PSP's FLASH MEMORY!!!
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE DONE TO YOUR PSP!!!!! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!

You can find all the thing you need from here: http://www.psp-hacks.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=80233

Accessing Flash0 on Your PC: On 3.03 OE and 3.10 OE

1. Go to recovery mode on your psp. Turn off your psp by holding the power switch up for a few seconds (until the screen goes black). Then, power on your psp, but while doing it, hold down the R trigger. You should see recovery mode.

2. Plug in your psp to your pc via a USB cable. This is the ONLY way to access flash0 by this method.

3. On your psp (in recovery mode) go to "Advanced" and press X.

4. Go down to the option "Toggle USB (flash0)" and press X. It will say "USB enabled"

5. It should pop up on your pc as removable disk. If you are on Windows XP, you should get a prompt asking what you want to do with it. Select "Open folder to view files". If it doesnt pop up like this, double click "My Computer" and in there should be something called removable disk, double click that.

6. To tell if it is flash0, six (6) folders should be present: data, dic, font, kd, kn, & vsh.

^^This is the first step to doing almost everything in this guide.^^

I HIGHLY recommend you copy every thing in flash0 to your pc, as a backup just in case!!!!

To exit flash0:

1. Close the flash0 folder on your pc.

2. On your psp, go to "Toggle USB (flash0)" and hit X. It will say "USB disabled"

Changing the font:
~works on 3.03 OE and 3.10 OE~
NOTE: Changing the font affects the PSP's browser, rendering it completely useless, or making it harder to use overall.

1. Access flash0 on your pc.

2. Open up the folder "font"

3. Find in there the file "ltn0.pgf" Make a copy of this file and save it to your pc, as this is the original font and you may want it back later.

4. Copy your new font to the "font" folder. (The font MUST be called "ltn0.pgf" and MUST be in .pgf format).

5. A prompt will ask you if you want to overwrite the existing the ltn0.pgf file. Hit yes, but only if you have already made a back-up of the original font.

6. You can now exit flash0.

FONT PROBLEMS:
-Make sure the ltn0.pgf is not too large.

Changing the theme:

1. Access flash0 on your pc.

2. Open up the folder "vsh".

4. Find in there a file called "01-12.bmp". Make a copy of that to your pc, as this is the original theme set, and you will wanna keep it for safety reasons.

5. Take your new "01-12.bmp" (It MUST be called "01-12.bmp", MUST be in .bmp format, and MUST be exactly 60x34 pixels) and drag and drop it to the "resource" folder. It should say "Overwrite existing 01-12.bmp", hit yes to this (but only if you made a copy of the original first!!!)
PLEASE NOTE: If you are using a single .bmp image as your new theme, it must still be called "01-12.bmp". It will erase all other 11 themes from your flash0, leaving you with only your new theme.

6. You can now exit flash0.
