the price is $75 + shipping , it wont be available in pakistan but u can order from www.mod-chip.com (http://www.mod-chip.com) , they ship to pakistan . The modchip's main purpose is to write to the NAND/flash of the psp , its uses can range from unbricking a bricked psp whose data in the flash drive i.e the firmware has been corrupted , or it can be used to flash a firmware of any choice preferreably 1.5 on w roking psp as well! . the unique thing about this particular modchip is that is works on all mother board types of the psp TA-079-TA-086 unlike the previous modchip Undiluted platinum!

psp had a NAND on which the firmware is stored , by usin this modchip u can write to that NAND and put any firmware u want for example those firmware that can run pirated games i.e ISO's

yes , firmware version started from 1.00 which was in jap psp's , then came 1.5>1.51>1.52>2.00>2.01>2.5>2.6>2.70>2.71>2.80>2.81>2.82>3.00>3.01>3.02>3.03>3.10>3.11>3.30>3.40

now on a 1.5 firmware , u can install a custom firmware for example 3.03OEC,3.10OEA ,3.30OEA etc , what custom firmware allow is that give features of the latest firmwares but allow execution of unsigned code and also pirated umd images.custom firmware can only and only be installed on a 1.5 firmware because 1.5 also allows execution of unsigned code. higher firmware upto 3.03 can be downgraded back to 1.5 to allow installtion of a custom firmware. but firmwares higher than 3.03 like 3.10,3.11,3.30,3.40 cannot be downgraded to 1.5 becuz their security is very tight and have no security exploits found YET by hackers. if u look at my signature nd my psp's firmware history u'll have a clear idea what i am referring to :D
