How to rip your own psx games then use them on your psp!

Things Needed!


A psp! (i have Firmware 3.40 OE-A , u must need any custom fw)

CDRwin

Zinga Burga's popstation

Disc of game you want to rip.



First off: Put PSX game in computer drive.

Run CDRwin (downloads at bottom)

Choose Extract Disc

Decide What you want to name the thing. Example. I named my file syphon filter..since that's what game i chose.

Finally click 'Start'.. Depending on how big the game is that's how long it takes.. it shouldn't take that long though

After it's done wherever you selected your destination place ( Default is Desktop i believe)

Time for making the EBOOT!

Open up Zinga's popstation.

Click on Browse.

Find the extracted cd image

Chose your output folder.

Then select your game where it says 'Select...'

Customize if you wish.

Finally click Go!

This process CAN take a little bit..so find something to do rather then staring at the screen.

After that's done look in your output folder you selected. You should have an EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN

Place these in ms0:\PSP\GAME\ any folder you want.

Awesome i really needed, i have got vagrant story sitting around here somehwere.
P.S does this "CDRwin" convert the PS1 games into ISO?

well since i've already repped you.. you HAVE to play it !..

warning, game will get rather repetitive with similar enrivoments and combat, but you must push past it because the story and characters are soo good.. its like the medievil version of metal gear solid

yes ofcourse , while playin the game press the home button and then go to settins , i have forgot specifiacally but the option is definately there , if it isnt , u can kill me;)

is there any other software besides CDRwin ??? i have been trying to extract a PSOne game but it gives an error... Multisession discs are not supported...

yes u can try alcohole120% or nero

if this thing is compatible with clone CD definetly use that since its the fastest cd copying software i've ever seen ..

thats true.... alcohol is the fastest and most accurate cd/dvd management software... its interference is pretty easy too

i have psp slim with cfw 3.71 m33-2. i had convertered dino crisis and placed the two convertered files in psp\games\ but could'nt find the the game on psp. i had also tried in iso folder but didnt worked. plz help

not all of them...god of war CoO certainly isnt....the psp's are just....unique...but if u play a ps1 game then certainly it will be like a ps1

PSP looks much better than PS1 at any rate.
Simple fact. You're playing on a small, but widescreen LCD.
