Battlefield 1 is the newest installment of the battlefield series and like always, is an exemplary game with astounding multiplayer. In recent years, Battlefield games didn’t have a great single-player campaign yet the Battlefield series has been providing stiff competition to the Call of Duty series. Battlefield 1’s multiplayer has depth. You need to cater for every situation, each fine detail will have a major consequence in battle. These are my tips on how to completely obliterate your foes give them a crushing defeat.
- Use gas or incendiary grenades
These grenades are a nuisance to campers. Gas and incendiary grenades are useful in flushing out enemies in buildings or behind cover. To avoid gas damage, players have to wear gas masks which impair their aim and accuracy, giving you a temporary but major advantage.
- Mark every enemy in sight
Planes, tanks, behemoths, infantry, whoever or whatever enemy you see, mark them. Along with bonus twenty-five points, you also get to help your fellow teammates in attacking. In situations like a storm in the Sinai Desert or Fog in Iron Walls, marking enemies will help you kill them by aiming at the marked emblem hovering over them.
- Don’t run and gun
Rushing enemies works occasionally. Medic and Support kits are best suited for the defensive lines, providing med packs and ammo. Suppressive fire slows down the enemy offense. Charging with a bayonet is not advisable, especially in a crowd. You will most probably miss and run like a weirdo to their defensive lines. If you really want to rush in, I would suggest using a shotgun in the Assault kit.
- Use airplanes or boats to get behind the enemy lines
This trick is especially handy in operations, getting behind the defensive lines can turn the tables. On reaching the back, killing the enemies will reduce presence near the objectives leading to quicker capturing and then, in turn, taking over the sector within a space of a few minutes.
- Request order from squad leader for extra points
You get hundred points for capturing an objective and twenty points for defending or attacking the objective because you followed the order. The objective could be anything flags, sectors, telegraph stations etc. Requesting an order will help you get bonus points which will help you level up.
- Aim for the turrets of vehicles
In operations and conquest, vehicles come into play. Tanks, armored cars, and trains, dreadnoughts, and airships, all can play a key role in pushing your forces forward. The best way to minimize these bothering behemoths is aiming at their turrets. This will disable the turret and diminish their impact, leading to a massive shift in tides.
- Keep trying new weapons and gadgets
This is, in my opinion, the most important tip. You should be trying out every weapon, tool, kit, grenade etc. You never know that it might turn out to be your favorite instrument of destruction. I tried out the gas grenade – not knowing how useful it was – and now I use it with every class. Give each kit some time and you’ll notice which one is best suited for you. Only then can you become a true veteran of this game.
